The goal with the October 2019 Turning Up the Heat conference is to bring together knowledgeable people from multiple disciplines, and community stake-holders, including The Trustees of Reservations, Boston Harbor Now, The Emerald Necklace Conservancy, the Codman Square NDC, and the American City Coalition, to engage in discussions and a planning charrette around how communities can be better engaged in resilience planning, and the development of green jobs training.

Come learn about our partnership with the Town of Ipswich and the MA Office of Coastal Zone Management to assess options and eventually implement an innovative resiliency design that will ensure public access for the next 50 years while restoring full tidal flow to the adjacent salt marsh.
